All shipments within the United States are shipped Carbon Neutral. We still offer retro shipping rates of $5 for orders within the continental United States no matter how many items you order! International orders are 16 USD.
How long will it take to receive my order?
It can take up to 48 hours to verify payment and process your order. Then the actual transit will take up to 5 days via UPS. If you are closer to the west coast, transit can take as little as 1 to 3 days. Orders shipping outside of the United States usually take less than 10 days and are handled by the U.S. Postal Service. One exception is the UK. Royal Mail processing can produce about a 3 week shipping time. If you provide an incorrect mailing address and the item returns to us, we can reship it but will have to recharge the shipping fee.
How do I know what size to order?
As a general rule, Altru mens shirt fits are more on the tailored side and are preshrunk. If you are still unsure and are torn between two sizes, order the larger of the two. We do have five different women's cuts online right now so email jmsn@altruapparel.com with any specific questions regarding women's sizing.
Special note regarding children's sizes: The 8K, 10K, and 12K sizes are represented in the shopping cart by 8T, 10T, and 12T respectively.
What if a shirt I want is out of stock?
We reproduce styles based on boutique and retail demand. If you must have a particular size/style that appears to be out, email us just to make sure there isn't one hiding in our stockroom.
What is your return policy?
If we send you an incorrect or damaged item we apologize and will promptly correct it. Email us for a return shipping label if you'd like. If you are simply not pleased with your selection and would like to refund or exchange it (within 45 days of purchase) for a dfferent size, style, or color, we will gladly accommodate (will have to recharge shipping) as long as the returned item is in new condition. Make sure to use delivery confirmation or insurance because we cannot be responsible for items lost or stolen during transit. In either case, please include a note with the order number, reason for return, and what you would like to substitute.
